Recently Taylor and I drove up to Mount Vernon for the day to check out the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Here are probably way too many photos from the trip. I think our favorite part was finding the old school bus (as in a school bus that is old, not a bus that is old school) to take pictures in. We had lunch in downtown Mount Vernon and I kind of wish that I had taken more photos there. Everything had a really cool small town look to it. I did take just a few but there was nothing worth keeping. Oh well. I think my favorite photo from the day is the one about halfway down just before the first shot of the bus (you can actually see the bus to the left of the barn in it). There’s something about the way everything came together with the purple tulips, blue sky, mountains, and the reflection of the water between the rows.
As always, thanks for looking.
