After heading through Boise and down to Provo, we drove up to Island Park on the eastern edge of Idaho. We got a late start and had a bit of car trouble at first, but driving through the night got us up there very early in the morning. We stayed in a cabin on a tiny island in the middle of a lake that was about 45 minutes away from West Yellowstone. There were probably twenty of us staying in the cabin all together. It was a little cramped but still a lot of fun since it was only for a few days. The next day Tay went down to Idaho Falls to do some wedding photos while I stayed behind with everyone on the lake. I didn’t feel like swimming so I just relaxed on the dock and took lots of pictures. Tay came back for an afternoon that was mostly spent at the cabin. We went to Yellowstone the next two days before heading home. I’ll have some great photos from that coming up soon! Thanks for looking.
