Joe & Britt got married on the last day of January on an overcast but beautiful day. The week leading up to the wedding had been unusually warm for January (as it is now in February) but had gotten cold again for a few days. Going down to the windy Pier 62 in Seattle with the entire bridal party was in stark contrast to how it had felt when Tay and I went during location scouting earlier in the week. The photos we got down there were so amazing though that it was totally worth it. It was such a perfect setting with beautiful light. Thank you to everyone for braving the cold with us!
Britt is a good friend of Tay’s so while she was asked to be a bridesmaid, she also helped out with photos as much as she could during the day. What I appreciate most is her ability to coordinate people when we do large group shots. She was a huge help organizing both the extended family and the 20+ person bridal party before jumping in herself at the last moment for many of the shots. For the reception my friend Stacy came to help with photos while Tay was busy being the cutest bridesmaid ever.
Joe & Britt did a letter reading and first look earlier in the morning at Jerisich Park in Gig Harbor. There were low clouds and fog early in the morning just as I had hoped. During the afternoon we took them to Volunteer Park in Seattle for more photos. The ones in the conservatory especially turned out amazing. The reception that night was at Homestead Park in Gig Harbor where we had done photos with them just a couple weeks earlier. All in all it was a great day and a beautiful wedding! Thanks for looking!
