Today I have photos to share that I took almost a year ago on a trip to McCall, ID. For some reason I never got around to doing anything with them so I thought I should dust them off and put them up. Tay and I stayed in a cabin for our friend, Katie’s birthday. We spent the time hiking, exploring, bouldering, kayaking, and hanging out in town and in our cabin. Being early spring, the weather cooperated for the most part but was a little all over the place. We had warm, sunny days, fog, rain, and even a bit of snow. The third day cuts off pretty abruptly photo wise because we were on our way to a rumored hot spring when we came across a bunch of “no trespassing” signs. Discouraged, we headed back to our cabin and ended up spending the afternoon kayaking on Payette Lake. The weather went from warm and sunny to windy and snowing at various times while we were out on the water. Not wanting to risk losing my camera in the lake I left it behind. Instead I took my phone secured in some plastic bags and took a few photos with that. The rest of the day was spent inside before leaving first thing in the morning. I probably should have taken a few photos of us packing up and leaving at the very least. Things pick back up with a few photos of us hanging out in Meridian before heading back home the next day.
I actually have another set of photos from last year I’ve been meaning to post so expect those next week sometime. In the meantime, Tay and I are off to Copenhagen and Stockholm for a somewhat belated honeymoon! I promise to not wait a year to post photos from that trip.
