I’m so excited to share these senior photos today!  Tay and I love Port Gamble but have never had the opportunity to take photos there.  If you follow highway 16 north from Gig Harbor for about an hour it will take you straight there.  It’s just a few minutes past the Hood Canal Bridge.  It’s kind of a surreal feeling driving into this tiny town because everything is so ridiculously picturesque.  It started as a timber mill town founded by families from New England.  As they settled the area they decided to make it look like the small towns they missed back home.

We didn’t have much of a chance to scout out the area beforehand, so we were winging things a bit more than usual.  Tay and I have been there several times though so I already had a pretty good idea of some of the spots I wanted to visit when we got there.  I couldn’t be happier with how these turned out!  Lauryn did a great job posing and everything just clicked into place for a great shoot.
